ABOUT

Sarah Zappia, Social Worker
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a social worker with over nine years of experience supporting neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults.

If you’re a parent, you might be feeling worried, unsure, or trying to figure out how best to support your child. And if you’re a young person reading this, you might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like things are working the way they should. Wherever you’re at, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I take a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach, which means I focus on understanding you as a whole person—not just the challenges you’re facing. In sessions, I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, without judgment.

I also work closely with families and the wider supports around you, like school or other services, because real change doesn’t happen in isolation. Together, we can find ways forward that feel practical, supportive, and right for you.
